Join us for one of our three careers sessions to find out more about becoming an apprentice with Northumberland County Council. You can watch our webinars, browse the different types of apprenticeships available, and ask questions to current apprentices and managers via the information booths.

Whether you’re looking for an apprenticeship now, or considering it in the future, don’t miss out on this opportunity to find out about all the options available to you. We have apprenticeships across many different departments, from construction, to social care, to business administration, and from level 2 right through to level 7 master’s degree apprenticeships.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have three different sessions, so you can join in at either 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, or 5pm-7pm. All of the sessions will have the same webinars, so don’t worry about missing out. Providers will be there at different times during the day, but there will always be several people online to answer your questions during those sessions.
No, you can stay for as little or as long as you like, but make sure you don’t miss out on any of our different activities.
We will have some webinars playing as part of the session, so if you would like to listen to those you may need headphones.
All your details will be stored confidentially, complying with all GDPR rules. We will use them to contact you with a reminder about the event, and with upcoming apprenticeship opportunities. You can have your details removed from our system at any time.
Navigate into the exhibition hall, and click on one of the stands. There will be the opportunity to type in a question for the people manning the stand. If you’re interested in an apprenticeship but you’re not sure what kind, then go to the main NCC stand and they will be able to answer any general questions and direct you
You can book a computer slot at your local library in Northumberland, free of charge, and they will provide you with a computer for one of our sessions. You can also use the computers to apply for any apprenticeships that you would like to, just (insert pathway for booking a library computer). If you can’t get to a local library but still want to discuss apprenticeships, you can call our apprenticeships line (insert Amy’s number) and speak to someone who can answer any questions you may have or point you towards suitable vacancies.
